Welcome to Artistically Quilted
by Linda, your resource for superb longarm quilting. Our studio is in
Dallas, Oregon, a small scenic town in the foothills of the Coast range.
We're about 20 minutes west of Salem.
History
I started professional quilting in 2005, at the enthusiastic encouragement
of my family and friends for whom I was already quilting.
I quilt with an APQS Millennium
that has a 26" bed and a stitch regulator. The Millennium can accommodate
quilts up to 120" wide and any length. This allows a large working area for
creative patterns and designs that compliment the pieced top.
Of course with all projects it
is important to use high quality materials. With careful attention to
measuring, piecing, and good quality fabrics you can produce a quality quilt
top. The use of Superior Threads ® and Quilters Dream® batting combined
with your quilt top and my free motion quilting will result in an excellent
finished quilt to cherish.
Services
In addition to creative free-motion quilting, Artistically Quilted
by Linda provides other quilting services, including:
• Sewing and pressing seams
• Attaching the binding,
• Attaching and finishing the binding
• Machine basting for hand quilting
• Traditional designs including cross-hatching
• McTavishing
Quilting
Every quilt gets a custom free-motion design stitched by me. I have
an extensive design library from simple to elaborate. These include
stippling, loops, stars, hearts, and leaves; flowers, ribbons, and swirls;
animals, geometrics, writing; and wreaths, swags, and feathers.
I would love to discuss the possibilities with you, because your quilts
inspire my creativity!
Tell me how you want your quilt
done or put the designing in my hands. Our thread supply provides choices to
compliment, match, or contrast with your quilt top. Special order threads
are available upon request.
Cost
The cost of each job is based on the size of your quilt and the
complexity and density of the quilting. We give estimates and will work
within your budget.
